Aniseed spiced lamb chops

The combination of aniseed along with the other spices give this dish a special array of flavours of the Caribbean. Loin lamb chops were used in this recipe but loin pork chops would also be suitable. They are fantastic served with a yoghurt, mint and cucumber dip and plain rice.
Ingredients for

8 Lamb, loin chops
2 tbsp Rum
285 ml Orange juice
1 tbsp Sugar (muscovado)
2 Birds eye chillies (red)
2 tbsp Anise seeds
2 tsp Garam masala
2 tsp File leaves (ground)
